Wiosna w domu/ Spring at home

Oto kilka wiosennych akcentów:

Do tej pory uwielbiałam białe tulipany, ale te różowo-łososiowe są tak samo śliczne.

Up till now I have loved white tulips but those pink ones are beautiful too.

                                                                                            

 

 

 

Solik stojący tymczasowo w rogu salonu będzie stał docelowo na balkonie. Jest w kolorze szarym, ale zamierzam go przemalować na biało, żeby pasował do krzeseł. Mam zamiar wprowadzić kilka zmian na balkonie i mam nadzieję, że uda mi się je zrobić jak najszybciej, ponieważ nie mogę już się doczekać sadzenia kwiatów.

The table standing in the corner will be put on the balcony as soon as I redecorate it. I have a few ideas how to change it and I hope I'll do it as soon as possible because I look forward to planting the flowers there. I'm going to paint the table white (now it's grey) to match the chairs.

W zeszłym tygodniu w końcu skończyłam tę serwetkę na stolik w sypialni.

Last week I finally managed to finish this crochet tablecloth and put it on a nightstand.

Pelargonie / Geraniums

Pod koniec lutego zaszczepiłam białe pelargonie i mam nadzieję, że się przyjęły. Wystawiam je już na balkon, żeby słońce je trochę ożywiło, ponieważ mam wrażenie, że niezbyt urosły od tamtego czasu:-/ Pelargonie w bieli są trudno dostępne w naszym mieście, czy u Was też? Panie/Panowie sprzedawcy twierdzą, że ludzie nie są nimi zainteresowani.

At the end of February I planted the cuttings of white geraniums. I've been putting them outside on the balcony for a few days to absorb some sunlight and make them grow because I've got an impression that they haven't grown too much since February. White geraniums are very hard to find in out town. The shop assistants tell that people are not interested in them. I wonder why because they look so pretty...Maybe not yet in those pictures;)

 

 

Podobno nie są zbyt ozdobne i ich nie widać... Poniżej są to pelargonie angielskie, które ślicznie kwitły w zeszłym roku. Przezimowały, ale niestety dopadły je mączliki, które niestety bardzo ciężko usunąć:( Po kilku próbach pozbycia się szkodników, musiałam je wyrzucić, żeby owady nie przeniosły się na inne rośliny:(

They say geraniums are thought to be not very decorative and they disappear among other plants... In the pictures below there are 'English geraniums' which bloomed wonderfully last year. They survived winter indoors but unfortunately they were attacked by whiteflies which are very difficult to get rid of:( After a few attempts of destroying them (all in vain!) I had to throw them away not to spread the insects around:(
