W tym roku pojawiły się u mnie tylko nowe kolory ścian, ale dekoracje pozostały w kolorze bieli i srebra. Oto salon:

I hope you had wonderful Christmas time with your family around and you found some time to relax after such a busy time. I have been admiring Christmas decorations on your blogs and I've been amazed with their variety and creativity.

Zakupy / Shopping

W zeszłym tygodniu kupiłam w sieciówkach świąteczne poduszki z białymi jelonkami na szarym tle, bombki w kolorze starego srebra, które zresztą uwielbiam i łańcuch z piór. W tym roku jakoś pod koniec października już zaczęłam odczuwać tęsknotę za świętami:) Jednak staram się powstrzymać i zacząć dekorować na całego z początkiem grudnia. Na razie tylko mały akcent dekoracyjny:)

Last week I was doing some shopping and in one of chain stores I ran into some cute grey cushions with white deer on, some old-silver baubles which I adore and a feather chain. This year I started thinking about Christmas around the end of October:) It's quite early, even for me, and that's why I've been trying to control myself and not to begin decorating until December, which is very difficult, btw:D Here they are:

Szafka w przedpokoju / A wardrobe in the corridor

Jakiś czas temu postanowiłam przemalować szafkę w przedpokoju, ponieważ żółty kolor sosny nie pasował do szarych ścian. Zdarłam trzy warstwy lakieru i pokryłam ją białą bejcą.

Some time ago I decided to repaint the wardrobe in the corridor because the yellow color of the wood didn't match the grey walls. I removed three coats of varnish and painted it with a white wood stain.

Góry Świętokrzyskie / The Saint Cross Mountains

Kilka tygodni temu wybraliśmy się na Święty Krzyż.Zatrzymaliśmy się w Nowej Słupi i stamtąd poszliśmy traktem królewskim na górę. Kiedy byłam dzieckiem wydawało mi się, że droga na górę była zdecydowanie dłuższa niż obecnie:) Klasztor jest w trakcie przebudowy(będzie dobudowana wieża, która uległa zniszczeniu), ale można go zwiedzać. Następnie poszliśmy zobaczyć gołoborza. Widok na okoliczne miejscowości zapierał dech w piersiach.

A few weeks ago we went to the monastery Saint Cross in the Saint Cross Mountains. First we stopped in Nowa Słupia which is at the foot of the mountains and from there we went up the Royal Track. When I was a child this way seemed to me much longer than now. I wonder why:)The monastery is being rebuilt now (they are going to build a tower which was destroyed some time ago) but it can be visited without any problems.Later we went to see the boulder fields. The views from the top were just amazing.

Balkon cz.2 / Balcony p.2

Witajcie w ten gorący majowy dzień:) Oto ciąg dalszy zmian na balkonie. Posadziłam pozostałe pelargonie, clematisy i poziomki, posiałam koperek, szczypiorek, lubczyk oraz pierwszy raz sałatę (ciekawe czy i jak wyrośnie; czy ktoś z Was eksperymentował z nią w doniczce?)

Przemalowałam też stolik z szarego na biały. Plusem jest, że jest stabilny i spokojnie można na nim postawić dwa nakrycia, ale minusem jest jego rozmiar. Mam wrażenie, że kompletnie zdominował małą przestrzeń na balkonie, ale niestety coś kosztem czegoś:)

Hello in this hot day. Today the continuation of small changes on my balcony. I've planted the rest of geraniums, clematises and wild strawberries. I've also got dill, chives, lovage and for the first time the lettuce. I wonder if it grows in a pot?

I've repainted the table from grey into white. Its advantage is that I can put there not only cups but plates as well:) The disadvantage is its size - I've got a feeling that it dominates over the whole small balcony area:(

Balkonowe zmiany cz. 1/ Changes at the balcony part1

Krok po kroku zmieniam balkon. Może nie są to jakieś ogromne zmiany, ale postanowiłam przestać szaleć z tak dużą ilością roślin na tak małej przestrzeni. Nie wiem czy mi się to uda, ponieważ jak widzę jakieś fajne roślinki, to zaraz mam ochotę je kupić:)

Step by step I'm trying to change my balcony. There aren't going to be some great changes but I've decided to reduce the number of the plants there because there isn't much room there. I don't know if it's possible because when I see some gorgeous plants at the market, I'm dying to buy them:)

Potem zawiesiłam lustro, żeby trochę powiększyć przestrzeń:)

Later I hung a mirror on the wall to make the space visually bigger:)

 

Następnie postawiłam doniczki (jeszcze puste, czekają na clematisy) i posadziłam lawendę 'Butterfly':)

After that I put empty flower pots (they are waiting for the clematises) and I planted the lavender called 'Butterflies':)

 I na koniec kwitnąca poziomka:)

And at the end, blossoming wild strawberries:)

 

 

 To jednak dopiero początek mojego 'ogródka' na balkonie. Cdn...;)

Wiosna w domu/ Spring at home

Do tej pory uwielbiałam białe tulipany, ale te różowo-łososiowe są tak samo śliczne.

Up till now I have loved white tulips but those pink ones are beautiful too.

                                                                                            

 

 

 

Solik stojący tymczasowo w rogu salonu będzie stał docelowo na balkonie. Jest w kolorze szarym, ale zamierzam go przemalować na biało, żeby pasował do krzeseł. Mam zamiar wprowadzić kilka zmian na balkonie i mam nadzieję, że uda mi się je zrobić jak najszybciej, ponieważ nie mogę już się doczekać sadzenia kwiatów.

The table standing in the corner will be put on the balcony as soon as I redecorate it. I have a few ideas how to change it and I hope I'll do it as soon as possible because I look forward to planting the flowers there. I'm going to paint the table white (now it's grey) to match the chairs.
